Budweiser has mastered the art of tapping into its Target Audience’s Emotional Quotient (EQ). For the last few years, their ads have featured adorable golden retriever puppies and have based stories around them. Since the last year’s Super Bowl commercial featuring the puppy and its iconic Clydesdale horses went viral, they decided to bring the #BestBuds back in 2015.

In this new commercial “Lost Dog,” the puppy gets lost and finds his way back home. On his way he is confronted by a wolf. The Clydesdale horses break out of their stables to save the frightened pup. The ad ends with the dog walking proudly with the horses behind him. The owner can’t believe it when he sees them all walking down the road back home.
Fun Fact: The song in the background is 500 miles an hour by The Proclaimers; the same song which Marshall Erickson from How I Met Your Mother got obsessed with (the tape in his car was stuck on this song).

Budweiser also did a commercial on drinking responsibly, highlight #FriendsAreWaiting, where a puppy waits for his owner to come back after a wild night of drinking. The commercial ends with "Your friends are counting on you. Enjoy Budweiser responsibly".
